Toronto weather is extreme - winters are extremely cold, while summers are unbearably hot. Often a six-month season, winter brings below-zero temperatures and frigid windchills to the city. Summers are hot, humid, and sticky, with high humidex levels and an even higher chance of explosive thunderstorms. Fall and spring are short seasons, with mild temperatures and lots of rainfall.
