Fire Weather - Elevated Fire Weather Conditions Are Expected In Far Northwest Oklahoma.
Days Two Through Seven - Sunday Through Friday -
Thunderstorms - There Is The Potential For Severe Thunderstorms Across Western North Texas With A Chance Of Marginally Severe Storms Extending Into Southern Parts Of Central Oklahoma. Thunderstorms Are Possible Beginning Late Sunday Morning With The Severe Threat Greatest During The Early Afternoon And Evening Hours Hours. Golf Ball Size Hail, Damaging Wind Gusts Up To 60 Mph, And Perhaps An Isolated Tornado Is Possible With Storms That Form Over Western North Texas. Farther To The North And Into Parts Of Central Oklahoma, Large Hail Up To The Size Of Quarters Is Possible.
There Is Also A Marginal Risk Of Severe Thunderstorms On Monday Afternoon And Evening For Areas Generally East Of I-35 And I-44. Although Storm Chances Are Low For Monday, The Primary Risk With Any Developing Storms Is Large Hail. Isolated Severe Wind Gusts And An Isolated Tornado Cannot Be Ruled Out.
Then On Tuesday, There Is The Potential For Thunderstorms, Potentially Severe, Across The Eastern Half Of Oklahoma.
Fire Weather - Elevated To Near Critical Conditions Are Expected Across Northwest Oklahoma Tomorrow. Near Critical Conditions Are Expected Across A Broader Area Of Western Oklahoma And Western North Texas On Monday Afternoon. Then On Tuesday, Extreme Fire Weather Conditions Are Anticipated Across Northern, Western, Parts Of Central Oklahoma, And Western North Texas. A Zone Of Elevated To Critical Conditions Are Expected Into Parts Of Southeastern Oklahoma.
